Virtual Brother Knitting Machine Museum

Brother Knitting Machine Museum

Interested in photos, information and history of Brother knitting machines?

Check out the online Brother Knitting Machine Museum. I found the history page to be quite interesting.

There are also copies of old advertisements that will make you smile.
This site is written in Dutch. Let your browser translate, and through the magic of the internet we all can share the information generously offered by the author.

Did you know that Brother maintains an FTP site that contains many of the manuals for their knitting machines?

Here's a link to the site.

ftp://ftp.brother.ca/MANUELS_MANUALS/English/KNITTING_MACHINE/

The files are large. If you don't have a high speed internet connection, ask a friend to download for you.

I found that using the Chrome browser took quite a bit longer than FireFox - so if you are having trouble downloading a manual, try a different browser.

Although not critical, it is nice to have the manual for YOUR machine.  This resource can be helpful.
