Apple User? Please read this

************** UPDATE 4/27/16 ********************************

After burning a little midnight oil, Matt was able to create a patch.  Even though there is no estmated time for an IOS update for the specific issue, our Apple user community now has full access to our videos again.

 Yea, Matt!

Thanks also to those who took time to help us troubleshoot ... machine knitters are the best!

If you are using an Apple product, you may have experienced a problem playing Knit it Now videos recently.

There is a known issue with a recent IOS version (operating system).  Here is an update from our hosting service:

"The next update to iOS (v9.3.2) will fix the browser issue causing domain-level privacy videos to return an error. We do not have an ETA for that update, as Apple does not comment on the timing of their future releases".

We apologize for the inconvenience.  For now, this is out of our hands.

Please be patient ... we are researching to see if there is any other solution and will let you know as soon as this has been resolved.

I haven't had a chance to do much with knitting lately, so I haven't been watching your excellent videos, but I took a minute to try a few in Safari running iOS 9.2.1, and they all played OK. None of them returned an error message. Thanks for the heads-up, though. I wonder.... some older Apple iOS devices were not able to take the latest security upgrade. It bricked them, and Apple pulled it. My granddaughter's iPhone 5 can't get it. It will be permanently running iOS 9.2. Maybe those are the devices that can no longer play the videos. That could make sense, since it involved a security setting directly. If that's the case, I'm not sure iOS 9.(whatever) is going to change things for them, because, from what I was given to understand by Apple support, there won't be any further upgrades offered for those older devices.

Dear Sue; Thanks for your and Mike's rapid response. This afternoon my daughter was searching browsers and found one called PUFFIN. It is available thru the App Store (a free version and a pro version). I downloaded the free one and installed and opened it on my iPad. I went to your sight to view the last tutorial I had received and it opened immediately and played flawlessly. I am patient with Apple but thought this was worth a try. Please pass this along to others who enjoy your great tutorials and don't want to miss them. You do a wonderful service for us all.
