2/8 - 2/24 ??? What do those numbers mean?

When working with coned yarn, many knitters are confused by the numbering system.
Yarn on cones is often referred to by the yarn count (3/8, 10/2 etc). By using this traditional Fixed Weight system, knitters and weavers can refer to yarns in a standardized way.

Set-in Sleeves that Fit!

Modifying set in sleeves to fit your upper arm measurements can be intimidating.

Understanding the relationship between the sleeve shape and the armhole is critical to having sleeves that fit. This is a "must view" video for plus size knitters and anyone who isn't a perfect "10"

Mix 'n Match HK ribbing with MK

Get the best of both worlds! Add hand knitting to your machine knitting.
There is no law that says machine knit garments have to be done completely on the machine! Ribbing is a perfect example. Even if you have a ribber, sometimes it's faster and easier to pick up your knitting needles, work a little ribbing and hang it on the machine.
